An unexpected, bizarre storm shows up while Mike and Jane are out on their yacht, the Sea Bliss, enjoying a leisurely boat ride. A huge wave hits the yacht as a weird symbol emerges in the menacingly lowering clouds. Jane wakes up on an enigmatic island and witnesses Mike's lifeless body being hauled off.
