A peculiar box containing an egg is discovered by Alice, a small child. A Bird of Fire emerges from that egg, finds its way inside the girl, and scorches her arm. Alice becomes involved in the never-ending conflict between Darkness and Flame from that point on. She will have to overcome many obstacles, stay out of harm's way, figure out dozens of puzzles, and confront the powerful evil that threatens the entire fantasy realm.
